For more than 15 years, Patty has advanced nonprofits in a variety of fields, including the arts, youth, health, and social services. She grasps the art and science of building relationships with local and private foundations as well as with national institutional funders. Most recently, Patty worked in foundation relations at the global headquarters of Bethany Christian Services, a faith-based organization that serves vulnerable children and their families around the world.
Patty received her undergraduate degree from Calvin University and holds dual master’s degrees―an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and an MPA from Grand Valley State University. She has also earned a certification in nonprofit leadership and several certificates through the Johnson Center for Philanthropy’s Grantmaking School.
A resident of Holland, Michigan, Patty enjoys spending time with her family, attending professional ballet performances, and unwinding in nature along the Lake Michigan coastline.
