Bible ministry has been a passion for Roy for over 3 decades, having served as President of ABS, Wycliffe Bible Translators, and The Seed Company. Before joining DickersonBakker, Roy held field leadership positions with Wycliffe/SIL, working in Ecuador and Guatemala. In prior years he enjoyed a successful career in business management and cemented his place as a global expert in the world of nonprofit executive leadership.
Ultimately, Roy’s goal as a CEO coach is to help nonprofit executive leadership & c-level executives flourish in their role at their ministry &/or organization. His extensive experience serving in various leadership roles and unique history of overcoming organizational challenges allows for Roy to provide an individualized approach to coaching & consulting, helping nonprofit organizations of all sizes achieve their goals. As a CTA Certified Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation, Roy works with DickersonBakker clients to help them realize their potential, create tangible goals and provide them with a roadmap to not only reach them but accomplish more.
Roy holds a Master’s degree in Social Science/Leadership Studies from Azusa Pacific University and a degree in Business Administration from Roger Williams University. In addition to completing Stanford University’s Executive Program for Non-Profit Leaders, he was awarded Honorary Doctorates from both Eastern University and Taylor University. He currently lives in Orlando, FL with his wife Rita. When not advancing the nonprofit leadership world, Roy looks forward to spending time with their four children and making lasting memories with each of their six grandchildren.
