This is an exciting opportunity to join the Great Commission Foundation (GCF) as a Gift and Estate Design Specialist working closely with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) ministry development teams providing gift and estate design opportunities to ministry partners. As a ministry of Cru, The Great Commission Foundation works in close partnership with development leaders throughout Cru ministries assisting their ministry partners in three ways: using gift planning strategies to safeguard their families; secure their lifestyle; and invest in the Kingdom of God. The Gift & Estate Design Specialist will provide expert knowledge and leadership to those seeking ways to fulfill their financial and ministry goals through straightforward, specialized estate and charitable gift planning tools and strategies.
The Gift & Estate Design Specialist will be responsible for developing relationships with Cru ministry development professionals and their ministry partners to support the creation and implementation of gift planning strategies and programs. S/He will have a discernible track record in consultative sales or advisement with measurable success in client/donor identification and relationship development. Ideally, potential candidates will have a knowledge and understanding of financial and estate planning concepts to include wills and bequests, trusts, and gift annuities among others.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience and training in estate design and gift planning or a related field such as consultative sales or client advisement. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Philanthropy or related field is required with a MBA or other Master’s level/professional degree preferred. Professional designations such as CFP, ChFC, and/or CAP will be viewed favorably.
