Medical Teams International (MTI) is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications who will provide core leadership in fundraising with specific attention given to the areas of mass market appeals, brand development, and strategic planning.

Founded 36 years ago, MTI provides medical and dental care, humanitarian aid, and holistic development programs to all people in need, regardless of religion, nationality, sex, or race. The mission of MTI is to demonstrate the love of Christ to people affected by disaster, conflict, and poverty around the world.

This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who has the leadership, experience and proven skills necessary to fulfill this critical leadership role within an inspiring and effective global nonprofit organization. The Director of Marketing and Communications will provide leadership in resource development strategy while demonstrating specific expertise in the area of mass market fundraising. The role will be responsible for building brand awareness, acquiring new mass donors, engaging supporters, and converting engagement into charitable gifts.

Successful candidates will possess ten (10) years’ progressive leadership experience in nonprofit fundraising including significant experience and expertise in mass market fundraising. He/She will demonstrate the ability to build high performing teams and operate well in a fast-paced work environment. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required with a MBA or other Master’s level/professional degree preferred.
